The Cadets  is one of the world's oldest and most honored continually operating drum and bugle corps with members ages 16 to 22 from all over the country and world. The corps was founded in Garfield, N.J. in 1934 as the Holy Name Cadets and has won 10 American Legion National Championships and 10 Drum Corps International World Championships. The Cadets travel an average of 15,000 miles nationwide each summer, competing and performing for hundreds of thousands of fans.

   is a regionally performing drum and bugle corps made up of approximately 128 young men and women ages 16 to 25 that competes in the Drum Corps Associates circuit. Founded in 2012 as a weekend-only alternative to the 10-time DCI World Champion Cadets nationally touring ensemble, Cadets 2 maintains The Cadets' standard of excellence while offering a more time- and cost- effective drum corps experience to young people in and around the Lehigh Valley.

USBands  serves as a competitive circuit for scholastic music programs nationwide, providing world-class performance venues and the best adjudication to tens of thousands of students. Each year, over 700 scholastic ensembles participate in 150 USBands-sanctioned events. The organization is divided into three seasonal departments: USBands Fall for competitive marching band, USBands Winter for competitive indoor color guard and percussion, and USBands Concert for symphonic festivals.

Xcape
  offers low-cost, comprehensive dance education to Allentown youth ages 6 to 22. Class offerings include ballet, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary/modern dance. Xcape aims to inspire and motivate students while fostering an appreciation for the arts. Instructors provide a fun and nurturing environment where students of all personalities and backgrounds can explore their creativity while learning valuable life skills such as teamwork, self discipline and work ethic.

March 4 Music  Since the spring of 2014, March 4 Music has raised over $75,000 for school music programs nationwide. This fundraising program helps bands create fun, customized "March-a-Thons" to benefit their school music programs, spreads the joy of music in communities across the country, and keeps music alive in our nation's schools.

Paul Nalesnik Bio

Paul Nalesnik
Percussion Instructor, The Cadets

Paul Nalesnik is a freelance percussionist and educator based out of central New Jersey. As an educator, he is currently the Caption Head and Arranger for the Rutgers University Drumline, Battery Arranger and Caption Head for United Percussion. Since the beginning of his involvement, the Rutgers University Drumline has appeared on numerous nationally televised events, including the 2013 Victoria's Secret fashion show and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Paul is also an Adjunct Percussion Specialist at Immaculata High School, working with both the concert and marching programs, and is a consultant for the Arlington, NY High School Marching Band.

His marching career began as a tenor player for United Percussion in 2009 and 2010. He later went on to march tenors for the Santa Clara Vanguard in 2011 and 2012. He served as Battery Coordinator for the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014. As a performer, he has held Principal positions in all ensembles at Rutgers and plays with numerous orchestras around the New Jersey and New York area. He was a featured performer at PASIC in 2012 with the Santa Clara Vanguard. In 2013, he received second place at the Atlanta Modern Snare Drum Competition, and went on to publish a snare drum solo book through Bachovich publications entitled, "The Rutgers Solos."
