Dr. Castille is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice for the Department of Management and Global Business of the Rutgers Business School at Rutgers University. He teaches a course titled "Management Skills" to undergraduate business students, which focuses on helping students apply principles of evidence-based management to effectively manage teams. His research addresses the role of personality at work and workplace ethics, which he shares regularly at the annual conference of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Inc., the Southern Management Association Association, and the International Personnel Assessment Council. His Ph.D. is in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Leadership, which he obtained from Louisiana Tech University.
Dr. Castille is also a former member of The Cadets having served two years (2004-2005) as a member of the brass line (mellophone) and three years as drum major (2006-2008). Since aging out, he has repeatedly spoken at the annual DCI Drum Major Leadership Seminar about topics such as servant leadership, influencing others and managing stress as a leader. He has also worked with and coached many DCI drum majors.
