Sean Moran
Percussion Instructor, Cadets2 

The 2018 season marks Sean's third year on the percussion staff for The Cadets2 where he will be taking on the role of Battery Coordinator.

Sean began his drumming career at Norristown High School where he played snare drum for the duration of his high school years. In 2008 he started his drum corps career with the Reading Buccaneers playing the snare drum. He continued to march with the Reading Buccaneers in 2010, and 2011 prior to being offered a spot with The Cadets in the 2012 snare line. During his time with The Cadets, Sean was a part of the all rookie snare line that went on to receive the collective "Rookie of the Year" award. After aging out with The Cadets in 2012, Sean continued his drum corps career when he returned to the Reading Buccaneers as the percussion section leader in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Sean was also a member of the snare line for the West Chester University Marching band during the 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Sean has previously served as the Battery Coordinator for Downingtown West High School. During his time with Downingtown, he had helped build a comprehensive percussion program as a battery coordinator. During 2016, he helped bring the Downingtown Percussion Section to their second A class finals in Dayton, Ohio at the WGI Percussion World Championships.

Sean has been educated and mentored under numerous renowned educators such as Colin McNutt, Johnny Trujillo, Rich Hammond, Daren Hazlett, Jacob Gall and many more.

Outside of drum corps, Sean currently works for Bracket Global as a Project Specialist and resides in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
