Due to the continuing spread of COVID-19 and the cancellation of the 2020 season, The Cadets have shifted focus to the members and the 2021 season. Additionally, by order of the governor, all non-essential businesses in Pennsylvania must be closed. However, The Cadets management team is working remotely and is still available for questions.

Q: How are the members handling the decision to cancel the 2020 season?
A: They are sad and disappointed, but they have been handling this decision with grace and maturity. Communication has been the key, and The Cadets leadership team has been communicating with the members regarding this decision on a consistent basis over the past several weeks. Under the leadership of Cadets Director, Denise Bonfiglio, the members have known that the spread of COVID-19 could lead to the cancellation of the season. The staff continues to keep the members excited about 2021 by engaging with each other and their instructors. We are also exploring new and creative ways to engage the members and community. Q: Are The Cadets keeping their same members and staff into the 2021 season?
A: Yes, we are. All members contracted for 2020 will be contracted in 2021, including members who would have aged out. And yes, we will hold over the same design team and staff of instructors, and we are extremely excited about this team. Q: Will The Cadets perform the same show you planned for 2020?
A: Yes, we will. The design team is completing all the writing and are excited about what they are working on. Meetings will continue throughout the spring and summer with the plan being to play through the entire show at the November camp!

A: No, we will wait to announce the show next year as we are going to be using the same music and design ideas. Look for that announcement to come late next spring.
