USBands Weekend Recap: 10/21

MOTK 261 copyAnother great weekend of USBands covered eight states, including the first USBands Southwestern Championship in AT&T Stadium. With competitions in Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts, the ramp up to the final few weeks of the Fall 2018 season is well underway. Five major events dominated the weekend with the Southwestern Championship in AT&T Stadium, Maryland State Championship, Virginia State Championship, Southeastern Pennsylvania Invitational and the Quad State Field Marching Competition.

With a mere three weeks left in the season, USBands is excited for even more State Championships and Showcase events, including next weekend's New Jersey State Championship, New England States Championship, Pennsylvania State Championship, Marine Corps Invitational and the USBands Coppell Showcase. The New Jersey State Championship is a two day event, with the first day of competition featuring Open Class Groups at Rutgers University. The next day of competition will take place at Rowen Unviersity and will showcase the A Class bands of New Jersey. All other events for this upcoming weekend are one day events.

With large shows like these on the horizon, USBands is looking for additional volunteers, and we've made volunteering better than ever. When you lend a hand for four hours, admission to the show is free. In addition to a free ticket to some of our most expensive events, you'll also receive free VIP parking, an event patch and a meal to fuel your shift. Read more about your opportunity for a free ticket here.
