Cadets2 is excited to announce their 2018 production, 'Industrial Awakening.' The show will feature On The Waterfront by Leonard Bernstein, That Next Place by Thomas Newman, Future Markets by Jonny Greenwood, and Big Apple by Johan de Meij.
Tony Rideout, a member of the Cadets2 Design Team, said, "Industrial Awakening is an audience accessible production that follows industrial communities through their journey of despair and chaos to the feeling of hope through their eventual rebirth and awakening."
The show begins with On The Waterfront, setting the stage with feelings of despair, chaos and the breakdown of productivity. That Next Place moves the show on to the feelings of recovery, hope, community and building something purposeful. Next, Future Markets starts the proverbial conveyor belt of the show, taking things to new heights of productivity through rebuilding and rebirth. The show closes with The Big Apple with the industrial rebirth in full swing. Thriving energy and vitality carry the audience to the end of 'Industrial Awakening' for a 2018 production that they won't soon forget.
If you would like to see 'Industrial Awakening' in person this summer, you can purchase tickets to one of our home shows on June 30, July 21 and August 1 by clicking here.
The concept art for 'Industrial Awakening' was created by Cadets2 member, Amy Deng.
