USBands is proud to offer a full slate of events in the Keystone State for the 2018 season.
As a reminder, all ensembles can attend one local show for free.
The following week, September 29th, join the defending Group V A State Champions as they host their annual event in Boyertown.
The first Saturday in October features the first of three double-header weekends. Perkiomen Valley returns as a host in 2018 and offers up their picturesque campus on October 6th.
This weekend also presents a long-awaited return to historic Franklin Field, the oldest collegiate football stadium in the country, for the USBands Philadelphia Regional.
October 13th features one returning and one new host. Souderton High School and the Big Red Band are the perfect mid-season hosts in southeastern PA. A new host to USBands, Bangor Area is slated to bring an event back to the east-central part of the state.
Our final double-header of the season on October 20th brings us two long-time hosts. Soundfest, the longtime event hosted at Nazareth Area High School High School, brings ensembles back into the Lehigh Valley for a night of competition. Another longtime host, Central Bucks South, invites ensembles back to southeast Pennsylvania one more time before states seeding begins.
October 27th begins the final three weeks of the season. West Chester University, home of the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, plays host as we return to Farrell Stadium for this year’s Pennsylvania State Championships.
A new event in the lineup this year on November 3rd is the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional. This prelims/finals event, co-hosted at North Penn, offers Open Class ensembles one last chance for seeding numbers along with providing a nice warm-up for those A Class groups competing in Allentown on Sunday.
A Class Nationals returns to the formidable J. Birney Crum Stadium on November 3rd and 4th. Groups I, II, V, and VI kick-off the weekend on Saturday while Groups III and IV wrap-up the festivities on Sunday.
