   is a regionally performing drum and bugle corps made up of approximately 128 young men and women ages 16 to 25 that competes in the Drum Corps Associates circuit. Founded in 2012 as a weekend-only alternative to the 10-time DCI World Champion Cadets nationally touring ensemble, Cadets 2 maintains The Cadets' standard of excellence while offering a more time- and cost- effective drum corps experience to young people in and around the Lehigh Valley.

The Cadets is one of the world's oldest and most honored continually operating drum and bugle corps with members ages 16 to 22 from all over the country and world. The corps was founded in Garfield, N.J. in 1934 as the Holy Name Cadets and has won 10 American Legion National Championships and 10 Drum Corps International World Championships. The Cadets travel an average of 15,000 miles nationwide each summer, competing and performing for hundreds of thousands of fans.

The team at Youth Education in the Arts invites all supporters of the marching arts to a special event Sunday, May 18, 2014.

YEA!'s Food & Wine Fest returns for its fifth year to the lovely Taos Wok & Restaurant in East Rutherford, N.J. for an afternoon spent celebrating drum corps, music and the arts with friends.

"I think this is by far the best social fundraiser to support The Cadets," said Greg Pych, a Cadets alum, committee member for this event and long-time volunteer and donor. "It is also great value to the donor; great foods and over 60 wines to taste!"

The event will feature an unforgettable, all-you-can-eat menu including filet mignon, seared tuna, smoked salmon, sushi, beef wellington, blackened chicken and so much more!

Plus, enjoy a never-ending bar including oysters, mussels, clams, crab claws and shrimp cocktail.


Cadets Winter Percussion got on the bus to embark on their first trip to the WGI World Championships on Wed. night, April 9. They returned four days later as World Champions. Here's a little overview of their journey to Dayton.


The convoy - complete with The Cadets equipment truck, bus and pick-up truck - arrived early Thurs. morning at 6, and the members were given some time to get a good breakfast before unloading the truck at 8 a.m.

As part of the agreement, becomes the “Official Apparel Provider and Partner” of YEA!, working closely with the creative and marketing teams at YEA! to develop new lines of merchandise for the organization’s performing ensembles including The Cadets, Cadets2, Cadets Winter Percussion and Xcape Dance Company, as well as a full line of event wear for the USBands fall marching band and indoor seasons. Additionally, YEA! and will be developing a new line of music apparel for students, musicians, parents and fans to help share their love of music and dance.
