During the indoor season, USBands provides both scholastic and independent units with well-known and respected adjudicators from throughout the worlds of music and the marching arts to evaluate student performers at each event. Specifically, we are looking for highly talented professionals in the areas of color guard and percussion.

Band Data

Current adjudicators can access their BandData account to update availability and accept or decline assignments.
Once you are logged in, there are two important tabs to remember:
My Info - Your personal information, mailing address, password, email address, etc.
Adjudicators - This tab will allow you to edit your caption preferences, affiliations, availability and accept or decline assignments.

Indoor Participant Guide

The administrative section of the Guide deals with definition of membership, size, classification and participation requirements. The competitive section deals specifically with the adjudication and performance guidelines. Here you will also find our goals and philosophy that allow us to provide music education programs around the country with high quality events.

Indoor Event Hosts

USBands is continually accepting date requests for indoor color guard and percussion events. Right now, our indoor circuit is centrally located in the Northeast with events in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

During the indoor season, all prospective event hosts must be able to accommodate both color guard and percussion ensembles. Event hosts are free to choose which discipline performs first. Participating units may come from either the independent or scholastic discipline.

The first event in a given region will be a clinic and preview show. Clinics for the indoor season give participating groups and their instructors the chance to learn from world-class designers and performers in their field.

Event Host Guide

The Event Host Guide is an excellent resource for those who may be interested in hosting a USBands-sanctioned event. It covers various requirements, guidelines and best practices to give prospective hosts an idea of what to expect and how to host a successful event. Current hosts are expected to abide by the Event Host Guide, as stated in their contracts.

Every summer, parents, fans and alumni come on tour to drive, feed and fit The Cadets.

Several generous volunteers have already blocked days and weeks out of their summer to come on the road with us, but there are still lots of gaps in the calendar that we would love to fill as soon as possible.

Whether you are a seasoned veteran of the Carrot Crew or have never volunteered for a drum corps in your life, you are welcome to join the family!

Please take a look at the following weeks where we still need extra hands, and please e-mail Lainey Braatz at if you are able to donate some of your time this summer.

Or, view The Cadets' 2014 Tour Calendar to see when our schedule lines up with yours.
