Doug Tenis of Fair Lawn, N.J.

Doug Tenis marched in the Garfield Cadets hornline from 1958 to 1968.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1963 and attended basic training at Fort Dix.

His military career took him into Army Intelligence as an E5, and he was discharged from the service in 1966.

Doug is presently the commander of American Legion Post 199 in Hawthorne, N.J. He organizes the runs of the Hawthorne Memorial Day Parade and is the business manager for the Caballeros Alumni Corps as well as a member of the New Jersey Hall of Fame and an associate member of the World Hall of Fame.
