Nate Holland holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Maryland, College Park and Master of Arts in Leadership in Teaching from The University of Notre Dame of Maryland.
His career in public school music education spanned 20 years and included elementary, middle, and high school instrumental instruction. Nate has been an active instructor, designer, clinician, and judge in the marching arts for over 25 years. He began in drum corps as a member of the ‘91 Cadets of Bergen County, performing on tuba. He taught brass with The Cadets in ‘95, ‘96, and ‘17, as well as the Cavaliers from ‘98-‘00 and again in ‘10+’11. Nate is pleased to again be part of the brass staff at The Cadets for the 2019 season.
Away from the field, Nate enjoys performing on tuba with his brass quintet and spending time with his wife Jenifer, and Parker their Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
