Brandon Carrita is the Front Ensemble Coordinator, Front Ensemble Arranger, and Audio Arranger/Engineer for the percussion at Dartmouth High School in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, under the direction of Tom Aungst. Brandon has been with Dartmouth since Fall of 2013. With his help, their WGI indoor percussion ensemble has consistently placed top five, including winning WGI championships in 2014.

Brandon has been involved in Marching band and drum corps since 2010, working with Somerset-Berkley High School, Plymouth High School, Bishop Hendricken High School, Dartmouth High School, The Connecticut Hurricanes, and most recently as an Audio Engineer for The Cadets in 2018.

As a pianist and percussionist, Brandon has performed on many stages. Most recently with Michael Dimucci and Friends, and the East Bay Summer Wind Ensemble. In college, Brandon performed with many ensembles including, Laptop Ensemble, Steel Band, Gamelan, and African Drum and Dance. He has experience with choirs as a singer, arranger, and accompanist. Performing in UMass Dartmouth Chorus (including Handel’s Messiah with the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra), G20 Barbershop Chorus, and UMass Dartmouth Gospel Choir throughout the years. Brandon frequently joins the Somerset-Berkley Music Department for their musicals as their pianist. Performances include shows such as Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, Sweeney Todd, and Sister Act.

Brandon is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he received his Bachelor of the Arts in Music Performance, learning percussion from Jamie Eckert, Chris Poudrier Sr., Royal Hartigan and furthering his piano skills with Andy McWain.
