USBands is continually accepting date requests for indoor color guard and percussion events. Right now, our indoor circuit is centrally located in the Northeast with events in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
During the indoor season, all prospective event hosts must be able to accommodate both color guard and percussion ensembles. Event hosts are free to choose which discipline performs first. Participating units may come from either the independent or scholastic discipline.
The first event in a given region will be a clinic and preview show. Clinics for the indoor season give participating groups and their instructors the chance to learn from world-class designers and performers in their field.
Indoor Event Host Guide
The Event Host Guide is an excellent resource for those who may be interested in hosting a USBands-sanctioned event. It covers various requirements, guidelines and best practices to give prospective hosts an idea of what to expect and how to host a successful event. Current hosts are expected to abide by the Event Host Guide, as stated in their contracts.
Sponsor Ads for Program Books
Per the USBands Indoor Event Host Guide, and your USBands Event Contract, up to 12 full page spaces in the event program are to be reserved for USBands and its corporate sponsors to advertise at no cost.
As an announcer at a USBands event your words will be the voice of USBands to thousands of students and parents. One of the biggest challenges announcers face is knowing what to say throughout the entire event. We hope this guide will help!
